The listing video in Santa Barbara: what works now

What goes into a listing film, where it runs, and what it costs. How agents from Hope Ranch to Montecito put one film to work across MLS, social, and the property site.

What a listing video is now

A listing video today is a 60 to 90 second cinematic cut: ground and aerial coverage in one graded edit, paced for a buyer scrolling on a phone. The best ones open on the strongest frame the property has, establish the setting, then move through the spaces in the order a showing would.

In Santa Barbara that setting is doing half the work. Riviera views, Hope Ranch lanes, Montecito hedges: the film places the home in its neighborhood in a way photos cannot, and aerial coverage is what makes that placement obvious in the first five seconds.

The one-take flythrough

For homes where flow is the selling point, a one-take flythrough can outperform a traditional edit. One continuous flight starts at the street, enters the front door, threads the main rooms, and exits over the yard. No cuts means a buyer sees exactly how the property connects.

We fly both. The traditional cut flatters large properties with distinct wings and grounds. The flythrough flatters homes that live well room to room. Plenty of listings run one of each, because they answer different questions.

Where the film runs

One shoot produces every version the listing needs: the full cut for the property site and syndication, an unbranded version for MLS compliance, and vertical cutdowns sized for Instagram and TikTok. The same footage also covers stills-adjacent uses like email teasers and open house loops.

That spread matters more than any single placement. The film a buyer watches on Zillow is the same one their agent saw on Instagram two days earlier.

Turnaround and pricing

Photos deliver in about 2 business days and video in 3 to 5, timed so media never holds up a launch date. Pricing is public: the configurator shows live totals as you build the shoot, no quote or phone call required.

Every shoot is flown by FAA Part 107 certified pilots, with airspace authorizations handled by us, including the controlled airspace near the airport and the coastline.
